بڑھ رہا ہے، یہاں تک کہ وہ نظروں سے اوجھل ہو گیا۔
واقعہ یہ تھا کہ اس مجاہد کو کسی طرح قلعے کی دیوار کے ایک کمز ور مقام کا علم ہو گیا تھا۔ وہ جان کی بازی لگا کر اس مقام تک پہنچ گیا اور دیوار میں نقب لگائی یہاں
تک کہ اس میں شگاف ہو گیا۔ اس اثنا میں حملہ کر نے والا فوجی دستہ بھی ڈھالوں کی آ ڑ لیتا ہلہ مارکر قلعے کی دیوار کے نیچے پہنچ گیا۔ چند بہادروں نے اس شگاف
سے قلعے کے اندر داخل ہو کر اس کا دروازہ کھول دیا۔ اب ساری فوج تکبیر کے نعرے لگاتی قلعے میں داخل ہوگئی۔ رومیوں نے ہتھیار ڈال دیے اور قلعے پر مسلمانوں
کا قبضہ ہو گیا۔
اب سارے لوگوں کی نگا ہیں بہادر مجاہد کو تلاش کررہی تھیں جس نے جان پر کھیل کر قلعے کی دیوار میں نقب لگائی تھی لیکن کوئی اسے پہچانتا نہ تھا۔ مسلمہ نے
پورے لشکر کو جمع کیا اور اس کے سامنے اعلان کیا کہ جس مجاہد نے قلعے کی دیوارمیں نقب لگائی، وہ سامنے آئے۔ لیکن اعلان کے جواب میں پورے لشکر پر سناٹا
چھایا رہا اورکوئی سامنے نہ آیا۔ اب مسلمہ نے بلند آوازسے کہا:”میں اس مجاہد کو اس کے رب کی قسم دیتا ہوں کہ سامنے آجائے۔“ اچانک فوج میں سے ایک نقاب
پوش(چہرے کو کپڑے سے ڈھانپے ہوئے)مجاہد آگے بڑھا۔ اس کی صرف آنکھیں نظرآتی تھیں۔ وہ مسلمہ کے سامنے آکر کھڑا ہوگیا اورکہا:
”اے امیر! نقب میں نے لگائی۔اگر آپ مجھے رب کی قسم نہ دیتے تو میں کبھی اپنے آپ کوظاہر نہ کرتا۔ اب میں آپ کو رب کی قسم دیتا ہوں کہ مجھ سے میرا نام نہ
پوچھیے گا اور اگر آپ کومعلوم بھی ہوجائے تو کسی کو نہ بتائیے گا کیونکہ میں نے جو کچھ کیا، اللہ تعالیٰ کو راضی کرنے کے لیے کیا۔ میں اس کام صلہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہی
سے چاہتا ہوں اور کسی قسم کے انعام کی مجھے خواہش نہیں۔“
مسلمہ اب خاموش ہو گیا۔ اس کے بعد وہ جب دعا کرتا توکہتا
”اے اللہ مجھے نقب لگانے والے اس مجاہد کے ساتھ کر دیجیے گا۔“
